Durham Shall Be Saved
“Durham Shall Be Saved” Campaign!, was the title of the latest news paper editorial article appearing in two different papers, the Durham Advertiser and the Northern Echoe about our Church’s drive and passion for Durham. This is no slogan, but a ‘burning’ passion and ‘war cry’ of our Church to see Durham and the churches revived through the mighty power of the Holy Spirit in the Name of Jesus Christ.
The following is the entire ”Durham Shall be Saved” article:
A CHURCH is staging a special campaign next month aimed at bringing the
New Testament alive for the people of Durham and the North-East.
The ‘Durham Shall Be Saved’ campaign is being held by the Good Word
Ministries, which is located at Durham Business Centre, Langley Moor, on
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 17, 18 and 19.
“This is a special campaign that intends to fully capture and demonstrate
the wonderful living realities of the promise and power of Jesus Christ for our times,” said Pastor Didi Dolopei.
“In a sense, we are bringing the New Testament alive for the people of
Durham and the North East following through on the commandments of the
Lord Jesus Christ to preach the good news of salvation, make disciples, heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead and to set prisoners free
in the Name of Jesus.”
The campaign follows two previous successful divine healing and prophetic
campaigns, the latest in November last year.
During the previous campaigns, a whole cross-section of people - young and
old- attended from various racial backgrounds and from all walks of life.
They travelled from as far as London, while others attended from Newton
Aycliffe, Crook, Willington, Bishop Auckland, Spenny moor, Sunderland,
Newcastle, and Durham itself. There were also pastors and church leaders
of other churches attending with members of their congregations.
“A unique aspect of this coming ‘Durham Shall Be Saved’ Campaign will be
that everyone in attendance who desires special prayers for any reason,
will be prayed for with specific prophecies concerning what they need to
know, ” said Pastor Didi.
“There will be a very special pastors and church leaders conference,
tailored to practically help and to empower attendees to access, deploy
and to use the power of God for effective Christian living and vibrant
Christian ministries. This section is especially crucial for pastors and
church workers and leaders who desire to do more than just the normal
church as we know it, but love to move beyond the superficial and
encounter the true grace and power of God for helping their
congregation.”.
For this reason the morning of September 18, beginning at 10.30am, will be
dedicated to teaching and anointing for spiritual empowerment.
“The campaign is open to the general public. You don’t need to have a
particular problem or situation to attend. You may attend as an inquirer
or spectator with the desire of a firsthand experience of the power and
love of God.”
The Good Word Ministries is a registered church and charity, which
originated in Britain.
The church membership is multi-racial and multi-cultural. Its order of
worship and services is Pentecostal and encompasses the liberty of lively
prayers, preaching and live upbeat music.
The main worship services are held each Sunday morning and evening, and on
Wednesday evening.
Clearly, ‘with God all things are possible’ and Durham shall be saved!
